Aussies Become Overnight Millionaires after life changing Lottoland win

By News, Press ReleasesNo Comments

Two more lucky Australians were added into Lottoland’s growing list of millionaires after scoring a life changing win from a $5 bet on the US Millions Jackpot.

The Lottoland customers from Victoria and Western Australia both scored a whopping $1 Million pay-out, making them overnight millionaires after correctly matching 5 main numbers, which netted them a Division 2 win in the US Millions Jackpot.

It was an emotional win for one of the lucky Division 2 winners, who was fortunate enough to share the life changing moment with his mum.

“I was shocked and couldn’t believe my eyes!” said the winner.

“I received an email on Friday morning and told my mum straight away. Mum was getting teary and also shocked. I will never forget what happened.” The winner continued.

Both customers came up agonisingly short of a mind-boggling $350,000,000* win, after missing the final Super Number.

Had they matched the final number, they would have scored the largest online gambling pay-out in history, eclipsing the previous record of €90 million (AUD$137m) set by a German Lottoland winner in 2018.

Luke Brill, Chief Director at Lottoland Australia was thrilled with the result.

“We’re absolutely delighted for both of our winners,” said Mr Brill.

“There’s nothing we love to see more than our customers scoring a huge win and it’s even more special when they can share it with family.” Mr Brill continued.

Lottoland also recorded another Victorian winner on the US Power last week, taking home $50,000 in a win that should provide some joy after what has been a tough year.

Lottoland $100k Jackpot Bonus for Sea Eagles

By Press ReleasesNo Comments

6th September, 2019 – Fresh off the back of renewing and upgrading their partnership with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Lottoland has come out today confirming that they are putting up an additional $100,000 incentive, should the Sea Eagles go on to win the NRL Grand Final.

“It was great to read that the Wests Tigers major sponsor is offering an extra incentive for them to make the finals and it got us thinking about what we can do over and above our existing partnership with Manly,” said Lottoland Australia Marketing Director, Matthew Brinckley.

“Every day Lottoland offer Australians the chance to win huge Jackpots and we are now excited to give Manly the chance to score a Lottoland Jackpot” Mr Brinckley continued.

“With the Sea Eagles already guaranteed a spot in the finals, we are extremely proud of the club and our partnership so thought putting up an additional $100k jackpot as further incentive to charge on and win the 2019 premiership would be a great show of our support.”

Lottoland is already pitching in additional investment through finals bonuses on top of their base sponsorship with the Sea Eagles, whilst the $100,000 now also on offer, should Manly go on to win the Premiership, will provide another nice boost for the Club.

“Obviously the team is already focused on going all the way, but this extra financial bonus from our friends at Lottoland just adds another layer of incentive for the Club as a whole,” said Sea Eagles General Manager – Corporate, Luke Tucker.

“Lottoland are great supporters of our Club and we appreciate their willingness to always go over and above what is already a solid partnership together.”

Lottoland has put the additional cash incentive on the table, so now it’s over to the Sea Eagles to go on and win the Premiership.

21st August, 2019 – Lottoland, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Premier Partner, have today increased their existing support and sponsorship of the Club.

“We believe our principles in obtaining success are very much aligned. We’re excited to play a role in ensuring the team have everything they need to win a premiership.”

Sea Eagles Head Coach Des Hasler congratulated Lottoland on their increased commitment to the partnership and is looking forward to working even closer with the Premier Partner moving forward as his official coach partner.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with the Lottoland team and we appreciate their ongoing support and proactive approach in increased investment towards our equipment and resources needed to compete at the highest level week in and week out in the NRL,” Hasler said.

Whilst the Sea Eagles are currently now sitting up in the top four and will be looking to hold a top four spot heading into the NRL finals series, the opportunity to host a week one home final at Lottoland, if qualifying fifth or sixth, would certainly be a great way to celebrate Lottoland’s ongoing support and upgrade of sponsorship with the Sea Eagles.

60,000 Australians bet on world’s biggest jackpot at Lottoland

By Press ReleasesNo Comments

Due to legislation coming into effect in 2019, we can no longer offer lottery betting and as such some content may no longer be relevant.

October 22, 2018 – US MegaMillions rolled over yet again to a record-breaking USD$1.6 billion (AUD$2.2 billion*) after no one matched all six numbers in Saturday’s jackpot.

It’s now the biggest jackpot in lottery history.

The enormous jackpot surpassed all previous records and has sent punters into a betting frenzy in the past week at Lottoland with over 60,000 Australians realising it could be their last chance to win such mind-blowing amounts with lottery betting set to be banned on January 9th.

Australians are relishing the opportunity to chance their arm on this record jackpot with Lottoland the only legal way that Australians can bet.

Australians betting at Lottoland will have a chance to reach instant billionaire status should their numbers come up on Wednesday’s unprecedented jackpot.

Australians are answering the call of “Who wants to be a billionaire?”  as a sole winner would see an Aussie surpass celebrities such as George Clooney and Beyoncé in regard to net worth.

Lottoland Australia’s CEO Luke Brill said they were in the midst of a “betting frenzy” and had not seen numbers like this since they launched and had 250,000 registrations within 48 hours when the US Power jackpot reached a record $2.1 billion* in January 2016.

Australians have found success at Lottoland in the past with over $40 million paid out in winnings to Aussie punters.

Previous Australian MegaMillions winners at Lottoland include a 56-year-old grandmother of eleven who won AUD$1.3 million and a 32-year-old mother of nine who won AUD$808,000.

Lottoland Germany also recently achieved a Guinness World Record for the world record for biggest online gambling payout with an AUD$137m winner.

The official draw takes place on Wednesday, 24th October, at approximately 2:00pm AEDT.

Results are based on the official US MegaMillions draw, with Lottoland.com.au the provider of the approximate AUD$2.2 billion* prize.

$919m MegaMillions jackpot set to challenge record book

Due to legislation coming into effect in 2019, we can no longer offer lottery betting and as such some content may no longer be relevant.

October 15, 2018 – Lottery lovers are in a frenzy after MegaMillions soared to an unprecedented USD$654 million (AUD$919m) over the weekend.

The jackpot rose over USD$100 million after no one claimed Saturday’s USD$548 million (AUD$770m) jackpot.

The estimated USD$654 million (AUD$919m) is the second highest jackpot in the game’s history, just $2 million shy of the record. It would also be the fourth-largest jackpot of all time, with only two Powerball drawings outranking the current MegaMillions records.

The next drawing is on Wednesday October 17th – and there’s a chance the total could inch into a MegaMillions record.

Australian residents aged 18+ (excluding South Australian residents) can bet on the outcome of this lottery at Lottoland and chance their arm on this enormous prize.

October 11, 2018 – At an enormous USD$548 million (AUD$770m) America’s MegaMillions lottery has become the third highest jackpot in MegaMillions history.

This incredible jackpot is now the third highest in MegaMillions history and ninth highest of all time. If Saturday’s jackpot isn’t won, it could become the highest MegaMillions jackpot in history.

Whilst lottery players all over America are hoping they will be the lucky one to cash in on the huge jackpot, Australians can also get involved.

Lottoland Pays Out World Record Online Win

By Press ReleasesNo Comments

Due to legislation coming into effect in 2019, we can no longer offer lottery betting and as such some content may no longer be relevant.

June 8, 2018 – Lottoland Australia CEO, Luke Brill, today announced a Lottoland customer in Germany had scooped a EuroJackpot top prize of €90 million (AU$137 million)—a record for the online gaming industry.

The winner is a 36-year-old cleaner from Berlin, identified at her request only as Christina.

“This is the biggest online gaming win ever, and the biggest payout for Lottoland to date,” Mr. Brill said.

“Christina must be one of the luckiest Lottoland players on record as she only signed up two weeks ago via her mobile. She won €8.60 on her first bet and then the life changing jackpot the following week.”

Christina had found out she had won while working on her late cleaning shift. She is now planning on quitting her job, allow her mother to retire, and hire a motor-home which she will drive from the East to West coast of the US.

Mr Brill called the win a landmark moment for the online gaming industry.

“More and more players from around the world are waking up to the fact that they can bet on the biggest jackpots the world has to offer at Lottoland,” he added.

“Only this week, I was delighted to announce that one of our customers in Queensland won $1 million from a $1 bet on a Kenoland Draw.

“In the past two years alone, Lottoland Australia has paid out $35 million dollars to winners locally, and we have attracted 700,000 customers who want the opportunity to bet on the biggest and best overseas lotteries in the world.

“But legislation before the Parliament is set to ban online lottery betting, so Australians will no longer be able to win big on overseas lotteries like this week’s winners.

“This legislation is unnecessary and counterproductive and we urge the Government to reconsider its plans.”
