Lottoland Solutions rebrands as ‘ALOT Solutions’

Lottoland’s business-to-business division rebrands as ALOT Solutions.

 

The new name provides a clear distinction between the Lottoland consumer-facing division and the newly-named ALOT Solutions B2B and B2G division.

 

Separate leadership, operations and technology enabled phenomenal growth over the last three years for Lottoland Solutions, therefore it is a natural progression to now have a separate identity.

 

Mike Carruthers (Bogie) will continue to lead the business as CEO of ALOT Solutions.

 

Mike explained “The time is right for the Solutions part of Lottoland to have its own identity. As ALOT Solutions we are able to focus on our mission of powering innovation to benefit players, operators, state lotteries and their good causes. We are making ALOT Solutions the go-to provider for Prize Cover, Games and Technology and we look forward to partnering with even more innovative lottery, gaming and non-gaming operators in 2020 and beyond.”

 

Lottoland jumps into 18th position in EGR’s Power 50 Rankings 2017

Gibraltar, 24th October 2017Online lotto betting operator Lottoland have today announced that they jumped to 18th place in EGR’s Power 50 Rankings of the online gambling industry’s most powerful operators.

The rankings are compiled with assistance from leading accountancy firm BDO. BDO’s deep knowledge and expertise of the industry allows them to develop a proprietary model which accurately assesses and compares the financial strength of the operators. The model looks beyond the headline profits and revenues, deeper into operators’ stability, strength and growth trajectories.

Lottoland have moved up 10 places since the 2016 EGR Power Rankings – testament to the company’s aim of providing value and choice through innovation to over 6.5 million customers across twelve territories. Fundamental to their success has been their unique insurance structure, which has been developed with the introduction of a unique high prize payout asset to scratchcards and instant win games, enabling Lottoland to offer customers even larger jackpots. The Random & insured Number Generator (RiNG) allows customers to win huge jackpots instantly. This includes a €10mn scratchcard – the highest prize for any scratchcard available in Europe.

More recently, Lottoland have been granted an insurance license by the Financial Services Commission in Gibraltar, making Lottoland the first and only gaming company with its own insurance company – Fortuna Insurance PCC Limited. Fortuna Insurance will underwrite all the bookmaking risks of Lottoland.

As a mobile-first Lottery betting company, Lottoland are constantly enhancing the experience of their mobile customers. Thanks to over 700 product releases and the daily efforts of our mobile marketing operations, Lottoland have observed a 22% increase in the mobile usage of our platform over the last year. 73% of our 6.5 million customers play at Lottoland using their mobile device, in June this year, this reached 84% for the UK, which Lottoland believe represents the highest across our industry.

It’s been a great year for Lottoland who were also identified as the 128th fastest growing company in Europe, and the 27th in the UK by the Financial Times’ FT1000 report. Within the official category of European Travel and Leisure, Lottoland outranked well-known giants such as Spotify, Zalando’s and Just Eat.
